The Mission of the Preble County Convention & Visitors Bureau (PCCVB) is to serve the people and businesses of Preble County by promoting travel and tourism in the county through collaboration with resources to provide an outstanding visitor experience.
Our four primary objectives are to:
1.) Increase Tourism
2.) Increase dollars spent in local businesses (including overnights)
3.) Increase visibility of local tourism resources
4.) Identify target markets: geographic and interest-based
The PCCVB was established by the Preble County Commissioners in October 2011. The PCCVB receives the proceeds of the transient tax levied on individuals who stay overnight in Preble County hotels, motels and bed and breakfast facilities, not including those located in Jefferson and Israel townships, which have established their own CVB's.
Preble County, Ohio, is in the southwestern quadrant of the state along the Indiana border and is conveniently positioned on the east-west backbone of our nation - Interstate 70. This strategic location serves as a hub with easy access to Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, Ohio; to Indianapolis and Richmond, Indiana; and to all points beyond. Family fun and adventure is plentiful in Preble County Ohio. Festivals and events for nearly every occasion, parks and outdoor recreation, along with camping, hunting, and fishing opportunities are easily accessible for visitors.
Highlighting the county is a visit to our eight historical covered bridges! Preble County is culturally rich in agricultural heritage and offers scenery not found anywhere else in southwest Ohio. Views of barns, silos, cropland, prairies, rolling hills, and wetlands offer picturesque sunrises and sunsets to bookend your day. There is something for everyone!
