The Preble County Commissioners have been busy. On Tuesday, April 7^th we visited with Larry Stelzer, Mercer County’s Economic Development Director, and gathered his thoughts about how he manages economic development in Mercer County. We also met with Mercer and Darke County Commissioners for an informational meeting.

On Friday, April 10^th we attended an informational meeting with several other county commissioners throughout the state. The County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) was in attendance to provide updates on issues coming before our state legislators.

Along with Eaton City Council members and staff, the Preble County Commissioners recently toured the facilities of two area businesses – Electrocap and Cornerstone Industries—two homegrown businesses located right here in Preble County that have a world presence and are continuing to grow. Preble County is very proud to have these two reputable companies in our community.
